My name is Christina and I am Angela Dacey's VP of Business Operations & her personal assistant. I really wanted to share my personal story here at angeladacey.com and have you all understand how amazing your life can become if you just take the time to work on yourself first. Working with Angela and experiencing her teachings, I can honestly say that I have forever changed my life for the better. I am walking proof that what she counsels and teaches really works.

As a single mom of a beautiful 6 year old boy, I continuously found ways to make ends meet. Recently, I worked as a waitress. I had just finished Business College and couldn't find a job in my field because of my lack of experience. At 31 years old, interview after interview, I still had no secure job. Finally, I had to go and search out employment anywhere I could find. This led me to taking a waitressing job at a restaurant up the street from my son's daycare. It was a great location and was only opened during the day and it was paying the bills. However, I was miserable, although I did try to make the best of it.

In addition, I decided to quit smoking. I went to Chapters to find some inspirational books. One book I bought was "The Secret". It was a book Oprah suggested and I found it appealing. After reading this book I had a profound realization.  "Ah ha. I am not living the way I want"!  If I continue to work here, the job I want will never find me. With this new information engulfing my very being I decided to quit my job!

My friends and family were amazed at my decision to leave spontaneously, but understood that I was not happy where I was. Their concern lied in the fact my son and I were on our own with me as the only source of income. With my decision to leave and no income, things didn't look good. But I had faith that my job would come and I would be happier. 3 days after quitting my job I met Angela outside of my son's daycare. I remembered her from the restaurant and kindly said hello. I also, knowing how networking goes, told her I had quit the waitress job and was unsure about what was next. Two days later I'm the Personal Assistant to Ms. Angela Dacey! A dream come true. This is soooo  where I'm meant to be. And all because I trusted something out there bigger than me to help guide me. I listened to the voice in my gut that said just quit your job instead of listening to the voice in my head that said no way that's way too scary!

In only 6 months, my life has changed 180 degrees.  I'm loving my new career, meeting incredible people, participating in self development workshops, winning prizes from contests, moved to a new house, received a car and so much more.

In short, what I did is what Angela lives by. Life is an amazing thing if you are enjoying it. So figure out what you want to do and do it. Or else you'll end up in a job you don't like, in a relationship that isn't working out or hanging on to past memories that hurt you. Move on and move up! Or at least look up!  I'm living proof!
